The unit was constructed using a steel frame with insulated roof decking and flat roof coverings.

External walls consisted of cavity wall construction, outer skin of reconstructed stone (to suit location and to closely match the existing buildings).

Works were carried out in a busy live environment with an existing fast food restaurant situated adjacent to the new build unit.
