As part of our carbon feasibility study, NU Construction joined forces with Trees for Cities. They are an independent charity dedicated to urban trees, working at a national and international scale to improve lives by creating greener towns and cities.
We have recently funded 186 whips in Stockton on Tees which is part of the commemorative tree planting for the Queens Green Canopy project. This project addresses the local deprivation by increasing access to green spaces and hosting community planting days to educate locals on the importance of protecting our local environment.
NU Construction are looking to be carbon net zero by 2050 which is in line with the government carbon targets.
