This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in construction and plant buying, who is also comfortable handling a variety of administrative and reception duties.
Role Details: Days of Work: Tuesday and Thursday (2 days per week)
Hours :Ideally 0830-1700 (to be discussed at interview)
Flexibility: Must be willing to work additional hours to cover holidays and sickness where needed
Location: Office-based - Elland, West Yorkshire
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the team with purchasing and procurement for construction and plant hire
- Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, and track deliveries
- Handling general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Managing reception duties, including answering phones and greeting visitors
- Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the office
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in construction or plant buying is highly advantageous
- Attention to detail Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and knowledge of SAGE and Collabor8 Online software preferred but not essential as training will be given.
- Flexible and dependable, especially during staff absences
