Our team recently completed a community project for the Elland-based charity Project Colt.
The charity supports people facing addiction and does a lot for the local community. They have a community hub, a garden for wellbeing and mental health. They also regularly run workshops, organise community walks, have a cycling hub and do much, much more. Thanks to the amazing community work they do, they have also won a King's Award.
Our Business Development Manager, Claire Drayton, initially reached out to Russell Davis from Project Colt to find out how we might be able to help.
For our first project we replaced a suspended ceiling, initially planning to use donated grids and tiles, Stephen Farrand from Suspended Ceilings Ltd. however, subsequently kindly donated new tiles for the project.
The ceiling has now been restored, protecting the furniture stored in the warehouse from getting damp. We’re looking forward to supporting Project Colt on other projects in the future.
