NU Construction Ltd have completed the construction of 5 No industrial units at Planetary Road Industrial Estate, Wolverhampton for our client Byfield Holdings.
Working with Wainwrights Architects and Project Management and JPG Group Structural Engineers, the project was completed on time and within budget. The air conditioned offices achieved an "A" EPC Rating and provide quality facilities for any potential tenants. Two of the units were under offer within weeks of completing the project.
The new build construction elements were completed in conjunction with a full façade replacement on the adjacent unit, while the tenant operated their printing machines less than 2 meters away from the construction works.
The project incorporated concrete pad foundations and ground beams which supported a new steel frame. The building was clad in Kingspan composite sheets with a feature panel at the front of the units to help define the corporate identity of the industrial park.
The warehouse areas were constructed in full height masonry internally and an industrial concrete FM2 floor to provide robust and secure production areas to suit perspective tenants’ requirements.
The offices were fully air conditioned and were fitted out with power and data to provide comfortable and convenient facilities for any business.
NU was pleased to complete the works to an exceptionally high standard and won the praise of the client and the consultants. The project was successfully completed by the site team by developing close working relationships between all of the sub-contractors.
