The project consisted of the construction of 5 No industrial units at Planetary Road Industrial Estate, Wolverhampton for our client Byfield Holdings as a result of fire damage to the former industrial units.
The new build construction elements were completed in conjunction with a full façade replacement on the adjacent unit, while the tenant operated their printing machines less than 2 meters away from the construction works.
The project incorporated concrete pad foundations and ground beams which supported a new steel frame. The building was clad in Kingspan composite sheets with a feature panel at the front of the units to help define the corporate identity of the industrial park.
The warehouse areas were constructed in full height masonry internally and an industrial concrete FM2 floor to provide robust and secure production areas to suit perspective tenants’ requirements.
The offices were fully air conditioned and were fitted out with power and data to provide comfortable and convenient facilities for any business.
